Thomas joined Provident’s former in-house GC in 2011, where he successfully delivered more than 2,000 multifamily units across Louisiana and Texas. In 2017, he pivoted to development and joined Provident’s Master-Planned Communities team, contributing to the planning and execution of several notable MPC developments.

Anticipating the surge in demand for rental housing, Thomas spearheaded the creation of parcHAUS, Provident’s premier Built-for-Rent brand. Since launching in 2020, parcHAUS has grown into a market leader among BFRs, delivering 800 units across four communities with 400 additional units currently under construction. Looking ahead, Thomas continues to pursue new development opportunities for the platform in addition to managing the existing pipeline of over 1,000 units comprised of both Built-for-Rent and Single-Family-for-Rent developments necessary to meet the evolving needs of the modern renter.

Prior to joining Provident, Raun led multifamily and mixed-use development efforts for a developer in Arizona over a span of four years. He began his career with Ernst & Young, later transitioning into real estate development in Gurgaon, India, and Dubai, UAE, gaining valuable experience in both development and asset management. During his graduate studies at UT Dallas, Raun interned with Provident, laying the foundation for his current role.
Originally from India, Raun brings an international perspective and broad asset-class experience that enhance his ability to structure and execute projects that create lasting value. He currently resides in Dallas with his family.
